Yes, Professor, I am back. And I hope you will be too.
How are things goin, y’all? Everything good in the hood? A lot has happened since the last post. I turned 14. I was in my very first play (as the female lead, no less! My first audition, too!). My computer broke, perminantly at last. I am now working a freelancing job for Flex-n-Gate, setting up their new German site, to pay for the new MacBook. I am currently cast in my first musical, ‘Honk!’, being put on by the local Park District Summer Program Office, as a rather unimportant chorus member, but I might be pulling out to take part in the Bright Lights summer classes, and I’m going to audition for their summer production of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. Because one of the summer programs I’m doing is a mini-production of ‘James and the Giant Peach’, it should be a real Roald Dahl-ish summer! Which I don’t mind in the least! More to follow!

It’s Just Been One Of Those Days…

You ever had one of those days where it seems you are siting in a big spotlight in one of those wraparound theatres, but your not on the stage, being applauded even if your performance sucked, your in the audiance holding a screaming child and everyone, even the sound man is staring at you, and not in a happy way? Where even if your trying your hardest to help and be friendly and nice and good, you manage to be in everyones way at every second, being the one person who was the only blip in anyones perfect day? Where you can’t even seem to stear your bike ina straight line and the one time you really tried to help, you manage to drop the thing you where carrying, be it wet and sticky, or just big and heavy, onto your boyfriends feet? Where, in short, everything sucks? And it just seems that you just are’nt pretty or fast or smart to be anyones friend, and even if your friends forgive you, you feel like they probably should’nt? I am having a grade 2 1/2 out of 5 of those days.

You are gifted in many ways.

I have decided to put a fortune from one of my extensive collections of fortunes (from the inside of those cookies from the Chinese Takeout place) in the ‘title’ section of all my posts. *sigh* for lack of anything better. This one is one of my favorites! I would like to inform the populace that I will probably not be posting fo’ a bit, due to the fact i am going to Kali’s ’til the end of March. So don’t worry (as if you would). I am also changing to the ocean theme, ‘cause this one I luv, but it just is’nt me! Anyway, I found one of the most funniestestest things I have seen in a good long while. It was only thanks to Jenn Cork from Midwest Ninja (she has a radio show on the same channel as mine is, that I found this, ‘cause she played it on her sow (thanks, Jen!). It’s called ‘The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny’ (can’t beat that name!). Today a massive question I have been wanting to ask for the last year and a half (about) was answered today. The question? I won’t tell you. Well, I don’t mind a random reader knowing, but somone I know who is (hopefully) reading this I don’t want to know! Hopefully, they also don’t know who they are! I am having a bit of trouble writing/typing today. Actually, I am having a slight glitch when it comes to thinking altogether (as you may have noticed). Sorry ’bout the lack of posts, but I have been a bit busy lately, so I seem to keep forgeting to check up on this. If you like more frequent (but not necassarily more accurate =^_^=) posts, check out my art here.
Also, the Stripes site is up, though there is’nt really anything there, ‘cause I am having trouble with the posting software. You can visit it here. Also (again), I would like to thank Cat for making it possible for me to add an ‘Awards’ section, which should be up and running soon. I’ll let you know. And lastly, I am going to be going on a 2 1/2 week trip to visit Kalandria up in New York! Wheeeee!

Lucky me. My brother is spending Saturday night at a friends. I got to stay home, eat pizza with mom and dad, and watch Grosse Pointe Blank (awsome movie). Then they left to go out. I am staying home, useing my computer (obvioulsy), and watching The Matrix. Again. Every time I watch this movie, I get suspicious. I feel like sombody else has thought those questions. Where are we? Who are we? How do we know? And who told us. Hey, it’s a fun zone I’m in.

I am back from that prolonged Hiatus. Sorry about the wait, but I was trying to build a knew handmade layout, and it was taking so long, I finally ralised that there was no way in HELL I was getting done before Christmas. Of next year, heh. I am palning to in the near future, to separtate my STRIPES SITE (which is my art blog/comic page wannabe) and what is now bing called CRICKET RAINBOW (my blog w/ photos). I want to make a layout for both, but I am no where near either. Oh well. *sigh* I am just going to wish all you dufuses Happy Holidays, and A Joyful New Year! Se ya!! =^_^+
